2009 People Doing Business Series Woman On The Move Supporter Pastor Lader Brown-Carn is as a Gospel Recording Artist, Song Writer, Psalmist, Poet, Life Coach, Author, Motivational & Inspirational Speaker, and Prophetess, who is in her now season, anointed and appointed by God she says. Known simply as Purposed, this Houstonian is the daughter of A.C. Watson and the late Zelanda Watson. Purposed loves the Lord with all her heart and soul and is a role model to many women and girls who’ve lived a life faced with sexual and physical abuse. After seeking God for her purpose in life, D’Vine Destiny Outreach Ministry & Crisis Center was birthed. It is a faith-based non-profit social service agency serving the Houston area. The center is committed to engaging families and empowering women and children who have experienced domestic violence and child abuse. “I’m a Pastor, a wife, a mother, auntie, sister, a friend and an anointed singer after God’s own heart.” she say’s. She holds an AA in Psychology, a BA in Human Science, and a MA in Human Services. She considers herself to be highly educated and a strong advocate for education. She is currently completing a double PH.D in Psychology and Christian Counseling anticipating graduation in the summer of 2012. Purposed began singing at the tender age of four and believes after the passing of her mother God took her anointing to another level. She has been the psalmist for many events, school talent shows, black history programs, and social events. She recently opened for the popular stage play, “Only God Can Judge Me” written by Curtis Von. She’s also participated on several Praise & Worship teams where she helps to usher the people of God into his presence. She is excited about her first single “I Owe It All”, which is soon to be released. She is an author of “Stretched Beyond Measures”, “Don’t get it Twisted”, and “Prophetically Speaking Vol. II”. Her latest project is “The Foundation for a Blessed Marriage”, is scheduled to be published in 2011. Purposed is driven to cause full deliverance, repentance, and to help people develope an intimate encounter with Christ through her voice while the anointing freshly falls upon her.
