Chris Camero (Candidate for House District 133) Talks to Houston Business Connections: Tells Publisher Aubrey R. Taylor why Harris County area voters should choose him in the Nov. 7, 2006, General Election CAMERO: "I first moved to West Houston with my parents in 1978 when I was nine years old. My wife and I are now raising our children just a few blocks from the house where I was raised. I am the only candidate in the race for District 133 who supports reducing the size and scope of government at every level. If elected, I plan to focus on the following three issues in Austin: School Choice We need to end the government monopoly over the education of our children. We, as parents, should be able to select the school of our choice for our children whether public or private. Students should not be forced into poor schools simply because of where they live. Deregulate Health Care Excessive regulations have resulted in skyrocketing health care costs. We need deregulation at both the federal and state level to make health care affordable again. Reduce Government Spending and Taxes We need to cut both the excessive state budget and taxes at every level. The recently passed business tax should be repealed." |
