My wife and I are now raising our children just a few blocks from the house where I was raised. I am the only candidate in the race for District 133 who supports reducing the size and scope of government at every level. If elected, I plan to focus on the following three issues in Austin: School Choice We need to end the government monopoly over the education of our children. We, as parents, should be able to select the school of our choice for our children whether public or private. Students should not be forced into poor schools simply because of where they live. Deregulate Health Care Excessive regulations have resulted in skyrocketing health care costs. We need deregulation at both the federal and state level to make health care affordable again.
