Joe O. Marcom (Candidate for State House District 143) Talks to Houston Business Connections: Tells Publisher Aubrey R. Taylor why Harris County voters should choose him in the Nov. 7, 2006, General Election MARCOM: "Past legislatures, whether Democrat or Republican, have spent most of their time raising our taxes, and the remainder passing legislation which infringes on our rights as individuals. I believe the state must learn to live within its means, the same as we all do. It must also learn to resist coercion from the Federal level, the latest example being the push for a national-standard driver license (which is a National Identity Card indisguise). If elected, I pledge to work for the smallest minority of all: the individual." |

Taylor), to tell Harris County area voters why they should choose them on Election Day. |
